The brain really is fascinating. Yesterday (left) I spent hours trying to paint a rose and wondering how on earth anyone could ever do such a thing. I had no patience for details yet couldn’t figure out how to simplify it. Felt very annoyed and just let myself do whatever.
After sleep and 1 hour of painting I produced something that looks like a rose (right) and most importantly, is finished! Hooray!
It’s like you can really see the result of experimenting and playing in the creation of new neural connections. I am encouraged 💪 Most interesting, it was suddenly easy. I’ve experienced similar before when practicing something on piano and knowing I need to sleep on it for it to come togther. I enjoy seeing it in this visual form.
Would love to hear about those overnight transformations from others. So interesting!
