Your lighthouse
Winking at me and my heart takes
a cetacean leap,
riding each wave,
a quickening pace
Inviting
the spring tide of my blood.
You’ve left your lighthouse.
The common star cannot compare,
its forged glare.
And my heart in regression as my blood
recedes in grief, moon pulling me,
Grieving moon pulling me,
flotsam on the sea.
